Salzburg/Vienna - 22 September 2020 MOONCITY VIENNA is another milestone for MOON, a brand of Porsche Holding Salzburg, alongside MOONCITY Salzburg, which opened at the end of 2019.
MOONCITY VIENNA provides comprehensive information on the topic of e-mobility and thus contributes to the fundamental system change towards a decarbonised future.
Battery-based electromobility is currently the most promising and fastest available CO2-neutral technology on a large scale. To help it achieve a breakthrough, it also needs a well-developed charging infrastructure.

Pop-up stores have been considered promising concepts for quite some time. These are business premises that exist for only a few weeks, sometimes even only a few days, and are often staged in a very special way. They appear and disappear again. Hence the term pop-up.
In the E-MOBILITY POP UP STORE, visitors will find everything on the subject of e-mobility on an area of around 1,500 m2. Here, the latest electric innovations of the Volkswagen Group brands can be experienced under one roof - from the VW ID.3, which can be ordered now, to the recently presented ŠKODA ENYAQ iV, the Audi e-tron Sportback or Audi Q4 e-tron, to the sportiest exhibit, the all-electric Porsche Taycan. The range is enriched by mobility concepts such as the SEAT MÓ E-Scooter 125 or the SEAT Mii electric, which is available including an ÖBB annual pass. All details concerning charging infrastructure, energy management and sustainable mobility, including professional advice, round off the spectrum of MOONCITY VIENNA.

The first floor with around 185 m2 is a thoroughly styled space that offers an optimal platform for holding your content in the form of expert talks, press conferences and product presentations as virtual and smaller events within the framework of strict COVID19 conditions.
POP UP STORES like to reach their audience digitally via social platforms on the internet, but also use classic PR - at least as long as this concept is still considered trendy and unusual. Getting this kind of thing off the ground in the shortest possible time requires competent agencies and service partners. As the lead agency, Porsche Media & Creative succeeded in doing all this within a very short time.

For example, a GO! special broadcast on six ProSiebenSat.1 Media Group channels during prime time will deal with the comprehensive MOONCITY VIENNA theme and reach around 3 million gross contacts within one week via this channel alone. The façade design with its approximately 60 square metres of 4k ultra HD screens, which are used in different ways, is of course also of the utmost importance in the high-frequency location of Mariahilfer Strasse.
